For more than 50 years, American Liberty Hospitality has been providing high quality real estate development and hotel management for a diverse portfolio of properties. We take pride in providing a hands-on approach to our projects, from breaking ground on new construction to elevating a boutique hotel experience. Whatever the scope, one thing always stays in focus: the people. For us, hospitality means focusing on the guests we’re privileged to serve, the team members who make that possible and the investors we’re proud to partner with.
ALH is led by Nick and Vicki Massad, a husband-and-wife duo with deep roots in the Houston community. Their passion for hospitality and the region help guide the company’s direction, from hands-on daily operations to large-scale community initiatives.
At American Liberty Hospitality, we are driven to provide the best guest experiences, career opportunities, and profitable investments while spreading the spirit of hospitality and improving the communities where we operate.

We have a long history of giving back to the community and world around us. Here are a few of the ways we are working to make a difference where it matters most.
In 2007, Nick and Vicki Massad presented the University of Houston’s Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management with a $1.5 million gift. The facility was renamed the Massad Family Library and Hospitality Industry Archives in honor of the alumni’s donation.
ALH’s Embassy Suites Houston Downtown has hosted Over the Edge, a fundraising event for the Special Olympics of Texas. During the event, participants rappel down the 19-story hotel tower to raise money for the non-profit group.
In 2015, ALH’s Vicki Massad and Taylor Tritt took the challenge and went Over the Edge together.
